Hot Tubs

Rooms & Suites with Hot Tubs

Enjoying your hot tub safely

  • Most of the safety advice regarding hot tubs is common sense. If you are staying in a hot tub room, you are responsible for your own safety.
  • Please do be careful in and around the hot tub.

To remove the hot tub cover:

  • There is no need to lift the cover, lift one half of the cover to fold in half, and use the lifter to slide the cover back. Follow the signs on the balcony wall to assist you with the lid.
  • If your hot tub does not have a lifter once you have lifted one half of the cover to fold in half, push the cover off the side of the tub. Use the side handles only – do not lift or pull the cover by the straps.
  • Remove the cover with caution and only if the weight is appropriate for your strength. If in doubt, please ask for assistance.

Getting in the hot tub:

  • Guests MUST shower before using the hot tub.
  • Be careful getting in and out of the hot tub. Enter and exit the hot tub at your own risk, be careful as areas may be slippery and steps can be hazardous.
  • Please do not enter the hot tub with the jets running as this reduces visibility of the steps.

Whilst in the hot tub:

  • Please only use the polycarbonate drinking glasses provided. NO glass is to be used in the hot tub polycarbonate glasses are provided in your room with the tea and coffee facilities. Any broken glass found in the hot tub will incur a charge of £100.
  • Never dive or swim underwater in the hot tub.
  • Please do not use any soaps, shampoos, bubble bath etc in the hot tub.
  • Leave the hot tub immediately if you begin to feel uncomfortable or sleepy.
  • Keep hair, necklaces, clothing ties etc safely away from the drains.
  • No children are permitted in rooms with hot tubs.
  • Please do not sit on the furnishings when at all wet – a permanent watermark will irreparably damage the fabric.
  • Noise must be kept to a low volume, no music is permitted, and hot tubs must not be used after 11.00pm for the consideration of other guests.
  • Hot tubs are two-person adult only hot tubs, extra guests are not permitted in hot tub rooms and the use of the hot tub is for the guests checked into that specific room only.

After using the hot tub:

  • Always replace the hot tub cover after each use
